Thomas Volz joined the fire department in 1996 and still serves to this day.  He married Holly in 1998 and they welcomed Logan into the world in 2001.

Thomas has volunteered with a local raptor rehab facility and enjoys photographing owls and eagles.

​

He has a BA in philosophy and is known in some circles to be a bit of a smartass.

He loves his family, close friends, Michigan football and Siesta Key.
